Temp gauge went up to half when I opened the drivers door , Stuck there -- once in a while the gauge works.

What you are saying does not make any sense.to open the drivers door.means nothing to the temp gage.was the car running at the time.need more info

Hell ! I know it does not make sense ! The truck only has door ajar as far as options , in the door but I suppose wiring might be there . I open or close the door , once in a while I notice the gauge drop when I open the drivers door , not while driving using any switches , only activated ? by the damn door .
