My gas gauge on my 1997 DeVille councoours is broken, I get empty on fuel and it still says that I have a quarter of a tank. HELP!!

your gauge in the tank is probubly stuck... or jammed or something... have a mechanic check the tank... it might cost labor... but it is better than the embarrasment of being stuck on the side of the road!

This just happened to me on my 1991 De Ville. I took it in to dealer and they said it needed a new fuel sending unit. The cost was around $380.00.
