I have 2004 Cadillac srx SUV. It shut down from
lack of oil. I put oil in it and it turns but will not
catch & the battery ends up dieing

If it shut down from lack of oil,you may have scorched the bearings and hurt the lifters all so,this would be the reason for it not cranking,
