is 200, 000 miles to much

I test drove a cts today it drives well but I dnt know
if I should take that risk with those miles
everything else is good in it i just need some
advice please i told them i'll be back monday

Check for maintenance record and if all recommended service are done on time and you are planing to do so in the future it is a good car to drive.

that engine is at the end of life or near it.

As others have said, the engine, drive line, electronics, etc are at the end of their expected life. The probability of significant repairs in the very near future just do not justify a purchase.

I wouldn't buy a problem. Maybe there's nothing wrong YET! BUT, for that price and the miles, me personally NO WAY. I know Cadillacs are very good dependable cars. My friend has one with almost 300k on it, it looks like a new car but, he's really kept his matinance up. Who knows with him he will probably see 500 k but, believe me He's an execution he had an Impala get 950k on it and the company bought it off of him. I'm sure its still running. Unless you can see all the service records from day 1 I would continue my search. Good luck on your car hunting.
