2002 Ford explorer, "check Gage" light came on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

"check Gage" light came on, and the car started smoking
and coolant leaked at the bottom. I don't know what
happened, any suggestions, ideas?

The engine overheated, probably due to a major coolant leak.
