Fuel smell when vehicle is switched off
I have opel corsa utility 1.4 2007 model bakkie
heavy fume, changed fuel filter, oil filter, air filter,
plugs and new oil, still petrol fumes on drivers side
Check the fuel lines and injectors.
Mine Also Has that smell of fuel I know that it is my car over fueling so most of the fuel I smell comes from air filter through the intake. GuruR2DG6 Is there any other problems with the car????
Replace your charchoal filter it sit inside the right frt wheel acrch to get to the filter remove rigth front wheel. Remove plastic cover from wheel arch you will see the black plastic rond filter. Thas your problem for the fuel smelln
Also you will only get that filter from the dealer cost R1100. Only used NEW parts
How can the faulty filter cause fuel smell outside the car? Is this filter in the fuel line?
