Use a one wire alternator, no need for any new wires, use the existing Armature wire as the Battery wire on the alternator. next find the voltage regulator and connect the ARM. and the BATT. Wires together. The other small wire on the regulator ARM. terminal is for the light or gauge follow the directions on the alternator or put it on the R or #2 terminal I hope this helps take care
