coil not getting power

Asked by freqman Sep 17, 2016 at 12:42 PM about the 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser

Question type: General

With key on, coil receives no
power. Was replacing light bulbs
and all outside lamps went dead.
Cranks but no spark. Hot wired it
and ran. Is there something that is
causing both circuit to fail?
