It sounds like your A/C cooling system might either have a leak or the A/C compressor itself is shot. Check the fuses and wiring to the compressor and also you should have purged the A/C system before trying to recharge or refill it.

Usually the ambient temperature in the morning is on the cooler side so that is normal for the system to blow a little bit cooler air. Check to see if your compressor is cycling on and off all you need to do is start the car, dial the a/c to max cold and blower on highest setting. Then with the hood up check to see if the front of the compressor is turning (this is the clutch mechanism for the a/c compressor). If it does NOT turn when the a/c is switched ON, then I would say the compressor needs to be replaced. There are other tricks to force the clutch to spin but if the compressor is shot then it's not worth trying. Some junk yards may have parts cheaper and some may even lower their prices.
