want to replace oem with a disc brake rearend out of a 85 camaro!

No, the rear end will not fit. Any rear end from a 67-69 Camaro, or1968 to 1979 Nova will fit. If you have a 8.5" 10-bolt, then you can use the rear disc brakes off a late 70's Trans Am. You will need to remove the axles and get the backing plate off the rear end and swap it over to your Nova axle. You cannot use the whole Trans Am rear end, it is too wide and the leaf spring mounts are in the wrong location.
