Header Paint and Wrap

Asked by Ruben Sep 02, 2018 at 07:48 PM about the 1974 Chevrolet Nova

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have steel headers there a little rusting but still good. I was wondering should I sand it down paint them with Heat protection paint then wrap them? First time doing it so if anyone has some advice please shot. Thanks

It would not hurt at all and the lower engine bay temperatures will be a plus. Ceramic coatings are the best.
