2007 marked a transition year for the Infiniti G35 as manufacturer made important changes inside and out to its entry level sedan. Uniquely slanted headlights coupled with a prominent grille make the G35 look like it enjoys every moment on the road. 17 inch wheels and sleek contours make sure you look and feel as though you're riding high. A new hand-stitched steering wheel and illumination for the gauges represent the most noticeable changes in the interior.
Otherwise, the Infiniti G35 gives you the same performance in the same 7 trims: the Coupe, Coupe MT, Sedan, Journey, Sport 6MT, Sport AT, and xAWD. The sedans now have a 3.5 L, 306 hp V6 engine. The Coupe uses a 3.5 L, 275 hp V6 while the Coupe MT uses a 3.5 L, 295 hp V6. The MT's have 6 speed manual transmission while the other trims use 5 speed automatic. In addition, coupes have 2 doors and seat 4 while sedans have 4 doors and seat 5. Expect around 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway across the board.
Overall, no one has anything seriously bad to say about the 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan. Drivers enjoy the performance and handling. While minor issues like the seat controls and cupholders draw minor ire from reviewers, the same people quickly explain that the improvements more than make up for it. The 2007 Infiniti G35 lives up to the family name and continues a strong tradition that looks to evolve over time.
