Don't Pass Up A Chance To Own One! — I purchased this vehicle in August 2008, it was five years old and had just shy of 49,000 miles on it. The car was in spectacular condition with the only paint scratches being from an idiot in a parking lot. The car thus far is holding up great and I couldn't ask for better stock performance, the torque peaks at such a low rpm that you are instantly thrown back in your seat when you mash the pedal. The car has a very solid and stable feel to it, and the stock bose stereo is actually really worthwhile! Mine has the brembo brake package and I would suggest having the infiniti pads installed to keep performance up and to avoid irritating squealing. The epa estimated 18 mpg in the city but I've been averaging around 20 so don't pass this up due to high gas prices! It really all comes down to the fact that this car is one of the best in its class in any category, performance, luxury, reliability and of course fun factor (especially with a 6 speed!)

Pros

Sport car styling, fun to drive, great acceleration, very nice interior and quality, dependable and affordable

Cons

Not great gas mileage for a 6 cylinder, no room inside, even less trunk space, and high insurance costs

One Of The Most Affordable Sport Coupes On The Market — A great car, great performance and acceleration. A little small inside, no room for passengers or trunk space, but you can't beat the great styling. Instead of buying a new G37, you can pick up an used G35 for a great price. It also a great platform to build on, as there are many aftermarket parts for it.

Pros

Fast, Fun, Reliable, Attractive styling, Good on gas considering the horsepower

Cons

Interior rattles, Rear axle click

2003 G35 Coupe 6spd — I have a silver 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe with a 6 spd manual transmission. I've always been a fan of these cars since they came out so I waited until the price came down low enough to buy one for myself. The performance is great: 280 hp v-6 with plenty of torque to go with it. The close ratio 6 spd gear box makes driving this luxury coupe a blast. I've always been a manual transmission man ever since my 1st car, a 2001 Honda S2000. It seems like every car I drive, I compare it to the S. It was such a pure sports car that it makes everything else I've drive just way to refined. I love my G35 because I drive a lot and it is very comfortable. It has the speed if I need it and its looks will never go out of style. It has great visibility (much better than the Z) and the trunk is big enough for two sets of golf clubs. I have been surprised with how good the gas mileage has been. I drive a lot of freeway miles and have been averaging just over 26 mpg. The build quality is my only complaint. I hate how some of the interior trim pieces rattle from time to time. I also don't like how the the rear axle clicks and instead of paying to fix it, Infiniti has realeased a $120 kit to solve the problem. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone who wants to turn heads, beat mustangs, and drive in comfort. Great car, reliable, and fast! If you can drive stick, get the manual...you won't be disappointed. As a last food for thought anyone considering the purchase of a G35 or 350z just remember if you want to accelerate fast, always turn off the VDC.

Best Luxery Sports Car Out There!!! — I have driven the Mercedes (many times) and the Lexus, and I am extremely happy with my Infiniti. I would choose the Infiniti any day over either of those two. I have yet to try the BMW, so I will get back to you on that one;)

Hot G, Cold Reliability ! — 2nd owner after the car was leased for 2 years. Reliable for the initial 5-6 years with some mechanical and electronics issues developing as it aged. No accidents but some reliability issues primarily pertaining to brakes developed. Also paint issues with the front hood and roof paint pealing away from the primer. this was not a rust issue but a bad manufacturers paint issue. as well and I've had the common radio/climate control issues that are typical to this model.

One Of The Coolest Cars To Own. Fun, Exciting And Customizable. — After owning this car for a few years it has been a blast to drive. If my wife w as not in the market 5 a new car it would be my next build. I would turn it in to a amazing road and track car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

It's Still A Head Turner! — I like the style, handling and performance of this car - it rocks. You'll have fun driving it and never have to worry about not having enough power! Flies from o to whatever- watch the speedometer or you could be ticketed!

Great Sport Car, Very Aggressive Look, Beautiful to look at, Raw Power, Great Exhaust Note,

Cons

Fuel Economy is almost average for a very good sports car but they could have made it better

Impressed — Very Beautiful, has an aggressive look, has a great sounding exhaust note, has real raw power. Unlimited amount of mods could be done. Prefer this more than the G37. The performance is almost the same, the G37 is more modernized.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

A Well Used G35 Coupe — Good fun car. Reasonably well built. Has been very reliable and has almost 100k miles now. Not the fastest car but very fun and more than enough for daily driving. Good balance of performance, price and reliability and it looks pretty nice too. It has served me well so far.

Pretty fast car

Cons

I have to open the sun roof in order to drive it for head clearance

MrEvolution

Low Head Clearance — This car is not for any driver over the height of 6 feet. You will not be able to have enough headroom, even with the seat at lowest position and reclined. Forget the back seat, it too cramped to actually fit an adult.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
