How is one supposed to write a valid review about a '76 Coupe DeVille? It's a
morbidly obese (5200lb) land yacht but it's amazing at the same time.
The performance is laughable when you consider it's got an 8.2L V8 under the
hood but the ride comfort is incredible and there's so much space. You'll be hard
pressed to find more comfortable seats and a bigger trunk.
You could have full-on orgies in this car and rent the trunk out to an Asian

Huge Monster. was bought off a retired old timer who had it in its garage and had not used it in like 5 years... anyways, i loved it, my GF at the time ( BTW who is my Wife now) hated it with a passion. i sold it for a 1000% profit.Sep 18, 2010

Nothing says quality or pinnacle of the American dream like Cadillac. This 76 Sedan DeVille is nearly spotless with 70k original miles on it. Has the 500 ci caddy big block. Everything in this car still works minus the clock in the dash. The 8 track player still works which is a cool bonus. Oct 27, 2009

I bought this beast while travelling on business, then dragged it home. It's the last year of the biggest Caddys, complete with a (fairly rare) non-smog 500 V8.

giant ugly brown boat, with a 502 V8. A honda civic could probably fit in the truck, and driving it was like you were sitting on really nice plush soft comfy couches. you never felt any bumps.Feb 07, 2008
