Is anyone familiar with the Carter BBS one barrel carb used on a 1963 Dart?
My 1963 Dart, 225 slant six wont accelerate over 30 mph. At 30 it will lose acceleration and often stall. I rebuilt the carb but the accelerator pump was hanging up so I put the old one back in. The gasket at the top of the float bowl gets wet with gasoline so I don't know if it's a flooding condition or a lean one. I swapped in a different coil but same problem. I've replaced the points,condenser,rotor,cap.ballast,vacuum unit,fuel pump,blown out the lines,adjusted timing. I can't figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx
