Nissan Versa will not start or even react to key in ignition
Hello all, My Versa didn't want to start up today. At first inserting the key and turn part way lit up the dash lights and turned on the radio, however turning the rest of the way to start the car had no reaction whatsoever, not a single noise, or click or even attempt to crank. This has happened before, I usually just remove the key, wait about 1 minute then start the car without a problem. However, this time the car did not start, even after waiting. I tried to jump the car thinking the battery might be the problem (it is about 5 years old now) but nothing happened, not even the dash lights or radio came on when the key was half-way turned. I would be grateful for any advice to begin diagnosing the problem, I'm strapped for cash but halfway handy with tools and general fixing things. Thanks.
