Its a fun car to drive, good fuel economy and low maintenance cost. Its bigger than you think inside and the interior its nice inside as well as looking nice on the outside. I have done a couple of long trips in it and was suprised by how comfortable it was.Nov 08, 2011

Love this car due to the looks, fun while driving it...
One thing amazing bout this car is it's very refined engine, overall performance and the dorp dead looks !! Wud have been good if MS would have taken some cues from Hyundai as well in space mgmt while drawing the interior design.May 22, 2011

5 years but still good as new.. Benchmark in the hatchback segment.. Wonderful handling with never get bored looks with an amazingly accurate steering, awesome performance & decent mileage.. And surprisingly no maintenance except for a new battery n a set of tyre's.. The Swift ROCK'S..Feb 19, 2011

Performance: Top speed 110mph, 1325cc Engine, 0-62mph in 10-11 secs
depending on how quick you can shift (Feels a lot faster however), can
understeer a good bit as most front wheel drive cars do. It also has a very
light back end wich tends to kick out under hard braking.
Build Quality: No faults with the build quality apart from that heavy front
end. Mostly plastic interior aswell.
Appearance: The Swift is a great looking car and fits right into the
hatchback market.
Cost of Ownership: Avg 40mpg depending on how economically you drive.
Costs myself £30-40 on petrol per week.
Fun Factor: Great car to drive, hits 6300 rpm and has really nippy
acceleration 4000rpm onwards. Just dont push it too much though
otherwise that light back end could cause you some problems. Sep 15, 2010

As the name goes for the car it really stand up for it. "SWIFT" Really nippy car, Good power for 1.3 ltr petrol engine. Good comfortable seats, Light built body, altogether good car. But when it comes to mileage it's really pathetic don't know where the petrol disappers but still it's good to race with other cars on straight road, road grip is not all that great, big minus point is no ABS in the car. But still I enjoyed this machine and gr8 to drive in city.Sep 02, 2010

Swift is the car in which i learned driving.its cool, easy to handle and has good leg space, one difficultly might be the seat is a little lower and for shorter people it will be to adjust the vision. apart from that for me the car had been a great friend and i just love this hatchback!Jul 29, 2010

The worst part about the 2005 swift is that it isvery bad with respect to its fitting. All the noise start from 1 year of civilised driving. The dash baord make clutters, door hinges give away, doors clutter.
Subperb car for speeding though through the city, comfortable front seating, ok on back seat.Jul 04, 2010

a really fun car, easy to life with, fantastic handling, the only let down point is the acceleration, loss power in the lower RPM.... the rear space is so tight than other competitor...
for the built up has a good quality interior, but the CKD version is rubbish.May 16, 2010

This baby has been there with me for five years now and never have I, for
once, thought of selling it.. Its that fresh thought of fun every morning that
makes me want to drive this car, because it is 'FUN' to drive. Its has got good
power, changes direction with that sporty edge, is dimensionally correct for
traffic, easy on maintenance and looks fresh even after five long years. The
interiors are a bit old now and fuel economy needs to be improved a little bit.
But the build quality needs to be improved ASAP to stay with competition....
Otherwise its a fun car meant for singles and couples, yet again, not for the
family due to small boot and poor rear space!!
All in all, its the best thing that happened to me in five years!!!:)Apr 09, 2010

Interior should be gr8 like sx4... or any other car like skoda
laura or superb.
performance is gr8 as it has gr8 pick-up .
and one thing company should try to me its rear wheel drive .
as it will give more power to car .and disk breaks should be in
all wheel .Jan 28, 2010

Build quality could be better. Lot of blind spot, especially
due to unusually thick C-pillar and also relatively thick A-
pillar.
Seating is too low considering the tall door sills!
Awesome equipment level in ZXi variant.
Great Performance from the 1.3L Gasoline engine
although i'd prefer the DOHC 1.6L or DOHC 1.3L petrol
variants!Nov 16, 2009

It's a good, small car. Not the fastest, doesn't need to be, still fun. Good build quality and been reasonably cheap to own. It's even practical for it's size. It's one of the better looking superminis on the market today as well.Oct 17, 2009

Performance - Acceleration, Braking & Handling is Decent.
Build Quality - Pretty Good.
Appearance - Smart Interiors but "Not Roomy". Exciting Exterior Styling. Tiny Boot.
Cost of Ownership - Mileage is Excellent as compared to its Class. Maintenance is Average.
Fun Factor - Zippy on City Roads. Fast on Highways. May 11, 2009

Den er sød, smart og lækker, at køre i. Den accelerer hurtigt og har 102 hk selvom at det "kun" er en 1,5 liters motor..skøntJun 20, 2008

was worried to buy a swift after my sporty clio (and 6 years down the line) but i was plain wrong. well, besides the speed and power which isnt great with a swift, but i the heated seats, keyless go system, airco, electric everything, alloys, the ride, the handling compensates for lacking 80 bhp compared to the clio. much more accomplished car than the clio was years before. surprising and very good experience. its for sale at the moment, contact me for details Mar 25, 2008

The car is incredibly fun to drive, it has great curb handling as well as breaking power backed by a good ABS system. The interior of the car is ok, nothing to write home about...The plastic is cheap and the noises from the dash and right front seat will drive you nuts unless you turn un the radio. Great leg space in the back for an average size person. I have impressed a lot of people that have taken a ride in my little croch rocket and after talking bad about its looks they learned to respect its ability to beat other cars with bigger engines.Jan 09, 2008

I have so much to say about this cars RELIABILITY! a 1.5 litre 101hp city car. Not many japanese cars I could really like but this one is exceptional. I only didn't like the so called leather seats bcuz it just felt really gloomy in black but otherwise this is the best city car you could ever want. If you want something abit more powerful get the 1.6 litre 125hp Swift Sports..Thats a better car. Might consider one to change against my civic.Jan 06, 2008
