2005 Saturn L300 Preview summaryImage

2005 marked the official end to the Saturn L-Series era with the L300. Saturn had experienced slow sales with the L300 and pared down the lineup to 1 trim, the base sedan. The manufacturer's signature midsize experienced no significant changes in its final year. The 2005 L300 uses the 3.0 L, 182 hp V6 engine with 4 speed automatic transmission. Gas consumption runs from 21 mpg in the city to 28 mpg on the highway. This model seats 5 with standard features that include power windows, power door locks, cd player, ABS brakes, and traction control. Options include sunroof and power seats. Cargo space comes out to 17.5 cubic feet. Overall, consumers feel the same as they always have about the L300. They like the value and solid handling. However, they could do without the road noise and uninspired design. After discontinuing the L300 in 2005, Saturn decided to take a year off from the midsize market before introducing the more stylish Aura in 2007.

After having this car in our family for 8 years there has been little to no maintenance repairs required. Due in part to regularly scheduled maintenance like, oil changes and tune ups. Driving this car was fun. I received a lot of compliments from ,complete, strangers on the sleek design and beautiful rims.Aug 14, 2013
