Does it come with a SR20DE STock?
I keep seeing things that say that the SE-R comes stock with a SR20DE stock...Is this true?

The 200SX, Nissan's sporty coupe, saw only a few changes for the 1997 model year, including the addition of a spoiler on all models.
The 1997 200SX came in three trims: the base trim, the midrange SE, and the sporty SE-R. The base and SE came standard with a 1.6-liter 115-horsepower engine, and the SE-R had a 2.0-liter 140-horsepower engine. A five-speed manual transmission was standard, with an optional four-speed automatic. Fuel economy is about 28/37 for the base engine and 23/30 for the larger engine.
Drivers are, for the most part, pleased with the 1997 Nissan 200SX. Many find it fun to drive, with a lively engine and excellent handling. It is also affordable to purchase and own, getting excellent gas mileage. Some drivers wish it had more power and complain that the seats are not very comfortable.

I want to put a turbo in it and a racing flywheel the engine will produce about 230 hp which would be a lot for a little car making it fun to drive. I also have three other se-r's all race cars we race at a local trackDec 31, 2011

Asians drive terribly, as well as stuck up blondes in range rovers.. that is all.
Power!!! so much power the clutch just can't handle it immensely massive
horsepower age. fun as crap in the snow. but the car itself sticks out like a sore

The car was fun to drive. It is no muscle car, but preformed good for such a small engine. I put 17" wheels with low profile tires and it drifted pretty good. It got 44 mpg on a trip. It was a little small for me. I like the look of the car. I had a 04 and 06 SER Spec V, and I like the look of the SX better. Tried to sell it to daughters friend and her boyfriend screwed it up and I have been trying to fix it. Has a lot of sensors and something is not letting it run above 3000 RPM's May 21, 2011

Performance: Acceleration isn't too bad but has room for
improvement, the brakes are solid but could be beefed up
more, the handling is really excellent.
Quality: It has had its needed repairs a few times, but
then again it was made in 1997. It runs great now, but it is
a little noisy due to some of the performance parts added.
Appearance: The car is in great shape. The paint is still in
great shape. The interior is very clean, and it is kept clean.
Cost of Ownership: The gas tanks holds about 11 or 12
gallons. The car gets about 28 to 30 mpg. Oil changes are
done every 3,000 miles.
Fun Factor: The car is so much fun to drive. It has a real
racing feel to it. The loud exhaust the awesome new NRG
steering wheel, the handling, the performance, just

Performance wise you cant complain with a combination or horse power and torque and in a high revving motor.. it makes it a fun car. The quality is decent, needs some minor repairs.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. i think my car is beautiful.. i love it.Jan 23, 2010

It was my Frankenstein, started off smashed to pieces, an I built it strong. Wasn't exactly a show car because I lacked the funds for a new paint job but the bare bones were there. Halo lights, hi flow cat, 2.5 inch exhaust, Iridium plugs and cables, Stillen strut bar, Nismo Radiator and shortshifter, ACT clutch, Fidenza flywheel, AP Racing seats, BMW 4 point harness, touch screen DVD fold out player bumpin two Audiobahn 12s wired in a single ohm circuit, pushed by two Pyramid 1600s with a 3 Farad capacitor. Optima battery, relocated to trunk of course, AEM Cold air, with a 5" ApeXi N1 Titanium tip, Black 17" split 5 spokes, disc brakes, KYB Agx shocks and struts with Dropzone coilovers, polyurethane motor mounts and bushings all wrapped up in a Blitz R34 body kit sitting about 2.5 inches of the ground.Jul 20, 2009

i have had my 200sx for two years and i love it. the gas milage is unbeatable! its pretty quick for the 1.6 liter but has a small clutch making it wear down quickly. its a blast to drive. power windows with a sunroof that hides inside the roof. the build quality is not top notch, but it is a 97 after all. cost of ownership is little to nothing. Another sr20de soon to be +t , alot of aftermarket parts,
alot of cheap jdm parts new and used. Great tuner
platform. Good on gas 2 lister 4 cylinder. parts are cheap.
Blast to drive. Same engine but non turbo as the silvia
engine. high compression and great selection of
aftermarket parts
