Good accelaration, good handling, not so good brakes, especialy on wet
It's an Alfa romeo after all, so you gotta take care of her otherwise problems will start. The car is very good-looking, and it a lot of fun. BMW's can be very surprised to see your rear lic. plate. Oct 11, 2008

20ltr Twinspark Engine gives great perfomance, however, in the wet, the soft Italian Chassis makes it squirm from the direction you point it! Being an Alfa Romeo, they are not cheap to run, starting with the price of fuel, being a 2.0ltr, you get very low mpg (approx 15-20mpg) then repairs, Alfa's are renowned for poor reliability, and believe me, my local garage owner loves it. But apart from the hundreds of pounds I have spent on this car, I love it to bits. I purchased it used, and had a good few months where it ran beautifully, but as soon as one thing goes, others follow. Timing Belts are known to be a problem, so check them as often as you can, i found out the hard way, and got a bill for £600. but, it doesnt matter how much it costs, it is my good looking italian red sports car, and i love it.Sep 30, 2008

It's just great! Great looks, drives really well, and has that very special "racing car" engine sound, when you rev it a little. This car is very overlooked, and a lot of people are not aware of the ease with which this car can be bought, maintained, stiled and driven. It's just a great car.Sep 03, 2008

A nice car, giving the person inside a push up the social latter.
Dislike:
The only dislike is the price for spareparts, alfa romeo is very pricey and breaks often.

My friends would beg to differ but deep down I love this car. It costs a bomb to run as it's a 2 ltr, It can be a bit shaky in the mornings but warmed up and ready to go it's a beautiful drive and thats probably the only reason really I love it. With classy interior and detail Its also quite sexy too, and theres nothing quite like manoeuvring into the fast lane, putting your foot down, two fingers up and saying c u later much later. The handlings slick and its very solid, a guy went into my passenger door on a busy roundabout not even a scratch. Parts are sometimes hard to get hold of but I've had this car near two years, wouldnt like to put a number on the amount I've spent on insurance, tax, MOT, Juice, but was it worth it?
