Its a mini. If you havnt heard of it where have you been.
Comes with engines from 850 to 1275 but can be made larger.
Many different engines can be added as well as other modifications.
Common for rust but if kept in good condition are now worth a fair bit of dosh.Nov 01, 2011

0-60 in 15 seconds is only a 998cc engine.
Handles better than any other car
has little rust but will be fixed soon
new red carpets, crome detailing on the doors, sparco steering wheel, bucket seats, 4 speakers is mega loud for just 4 speakers. has a twin centre exit dtm exhaust,
strong body will take a hard crash and keep goin.
is the most fun to drive ever out of all the cars i have drove, and is what everyone else says that have drove my car.
uses not alot of petrol if drove sensibly but wheres the fun in that??? i use £20 for petrol a week, only has 4 gears because the engine is so small, but can hold its own against bigger engine cars such as 1.2 corsa, 1.4 golf ect... with a vtec conversion tho to a 1.6 this mini will do 0-60 in 5 seconds and top speed of 140mph.Oct 11, 2009

Naturally, being a Mini, handling is its strongest point. Having the wheels on the corners of the chassis means you can take most bends at piss take speeds compared to most cars. The engines only a 998cc so its figures aren't exactly going to confound or amaze most. 0-60 isn't exactly impressive, but its only got a 4-spd so the gear ratios are tight. 1st gets you to 30pmh, 2nd:55mph, 3rd:75mph, 4th:90+mph. You can rip through first and second gear quite quickly, bearing in mind how old the car is now and the engine size, its a fairly nippy little thing to get around in, not exactly great for motorway driving, but it survives. Looks wise, its a Mini, like marmite you can love its cutsie, retro looks, or you can loath them. Personally I think it looks great and to the vast extent most agree with me, and with the Studio2 trim it stands out just a little from most Minis, something like only 500-1000 were ever made in the trim. The interior isn't exactly a work of art but its surprisingly spacious, considering how small this car is. Reliability is luck of draw really, sometimes you can buy wonderful examples which run for ages, and like in my case it can be a tiny nightmare. Luckily, when things go wrong with it there is an abundance of sites which supply replacement parts, and due to the nature of the car most problems are easily rectifiable from home with very little mechanical knowledge required. Taking the current petrol prices, 89.9p per liter from red line to full only costs £17.50.Even when you push the car,as is the tendency, thats enough to run you for over a week if you were running say, 150-200 miles a week, which isn't bad considering the cost of filling the average modern car is more like £30-40.
Its a great little car to buy, passers-by love it, your mates love it, and the ladies love it :P. There is a huge number of clubs and the like around which support the classic shape Mini, and as a result there are a number of great events and runs you can attend which are a laugh whatever the weather. Whether its your first car, or something you take out on the weekend a Mini is a wonderful little car thats bound to put a smile on your face :).Feb 21, 2009

handles really well sounds awesome and goes like a rocket
for a mini
it does rust quite easily though but is very easy to repair
i have put a nice sound system in it and it by accident has
really good acoustics
overall this a great little car and awesome for either a
town cruiser with the pulsing sub or a back road blaster.Dec 10, 2008

Perfect little car for Guernsey's narrow roads! 1.3 engine has plenty of go in it, and handling is simply fantastic in the dry. I can't even encourage the tyres to squeal, let alone lose grip! In the wet it is a different story, as most grip is worryingly lost. Bouncy ride can be annoying or fun, and if it goes wrong just bash it with a hammer and it works again!Jul 11, 2008

Still with all its original paint, interior and even a dealership sticker this is a great fun nippy little car. It looks great, sounds great, is a brilliant talking point - everybody loves minis. It holds its own amongst much bigger engined newer cars. Brakes and handling are top notch. Steering is light and maneuverable. Sadly minis rust for fun but as long as they are looked after they run forever. Brilliant MPG.
And best of all its 100% BMW free.
