i have a 1990 gmc vandura 2500 i haven't touched since 2004. today i want to drive it but it's low on battery i tried opening the hood but its jammed or something can u guys help just by giving me a video or a tip or a picture i will appreciate that -Thank You
Looking to replace the warped and rusted roof panel on my Vandura, can't seem to figure out how to properly get it done.
Does anyone know where I can get a bodykit (wide arches, running boards and front valance) for my van? I've looked everywhere. Any help much appreciated.
new here, relatively new to cars but been working on motorcycles for years got a 1990 vandura with a TBI 4.3L V6, had 69k miles on it, had been sitting so i replaced the fuel pump and filter and got it running, ran absolutely perfect at first but a few days later started smelling rich at low speeds, hesitates sometimes and stalls at very low speeds if you blip the throttle, seems to run boggy then overcome it once speed increases. usually runs fine at interstate speeds but in town or in parking lots it can be a turd. shakes a bit at idle now too. was throwing codes 33 and 45, swapped out the MAP sensor and it made no difference, replaced the O2 sensor, all the small vacuum lines, re-hooked up the line going from the TBI body to the vapor canister, PCV has good vacuum, new cap, rotor, plugs, swapped out injectors with my other van, put all new gaskets and o-rings in the TBI, nothing seems to have made a major difference. just wondering if theres a main thing i should check or if maybe the new fuel pump is messed up already or something? also fuel pump is very loud and audible inside the van, has been since i installed it, not sure if thats normal. thanks for the help!
