3.0 12v Senator CD Auto ,What a car had it 3/4 yrs now and repairs have been pretty much nil exept for paintwork on rear door shuts - Not the best looking car but acceptable ,performance is very sprightly as would be expected of a 3 litre and in its day not many could outrun it ,obviously nowadays many cars are quicker but it can still hold its own with the Golf gti type brigade ,The downside and its a big negative is fuel consumption that can be frightening when pushing hard dropping as low as 12mpg .Senator is lovely to drive with power to spare and comfort only dreamed about in modern motors .Mot time comes and goes without worry because it goes unprepared and passes without a single advisory every time so its clear to see this car is brilliant to own apart from fuel consumption although if driven carefully will attain 30+ mpg on a motorway type run .Electric adjustable suspension - air conditioning - cruise control - adjustable steering it just goes on and on, electric averything .Awesome car and now quite rare .Apr 01, 2010
