I like the power you have and when youll get stuck just put it on 4 low range :p. But I but it to expensive for the price I pay. I made a mistake to buy this truck but I learne alot on the old diesel. The cab is little bit rusty.
I change Radiator, heater, mecanic pump, fuel pump, starter, 2 bateries, all the baterie cable, glow plugs, gas tank and gas tank support, injector fuel line, windshield washer pump, I also made a switch for glow plug and the starter and I weld plate under it.
I pay the truck 2250 and I put juste like 1500-1800$ on the freaking motor!Feb 14, 2015

Awesome project very powerful and too much torque for winter driving
plenty of power and not too much speed will pull the world if it has traction
Once painted it will be an unstopable show truck

Oh man this things been thru hell. Ive had this truck in some crappy places and she pulled thru without a problem. Plows like a pro, pulls like a champ. Offroads like a Toyota lol. 351 Windsor, Dana 60 and 70, Warn hubs, auto tranny and NP205 transfer caseNov 03, 2009

mine is a crewcab dually with a 7,3L (444cui) navistar diesel. torque like a elephant, good on gas (diesel). i have 410000 km and the engine is untuched and still runs like new. 5 speed standard with OD. if you need a good truck that pulls and carrys everything while your family is with you,.. this is itOct 02, 2009

Its not done yet, still work in progress project, jackin up higher, paint job, more lights, took it wheelin already, got 300 inline in it right now but 351 goin into the beauty has tons of torque as is with the inline 6, with a 5spd overdriver tranny behind her. Mar 16, 2009

88 ford f 350 fuel system has pressure but engine not getting gas
fuel comes out of the pressure release valve by injectors when checked. plugs have spark. engine began to turn over when we sprayed brake cleaner into the throttle body. Our guess is something is not telling the fuel injectors to spray fuel into the cylinders?

What Gear Ratio at the rear would be good in this truck?
I have a 1988 Ford F350 2wd that had the 7.3 Intertrashional Diesel in it with an automatic C6 trans. I swapped the motor and trans out for a 1993 Cummins intercooled 12V with a Gutrag 360 5 speed trans. The truck is up running and driving, although it is ENTIRELY TOO torquey. My truck tops out around 60MPH. The current Rear Ratio is believed to be a 4:11. I pull a light trailed about 4 to 5 times a year, and I personally dont care if the truck is a bit sluggish accelerating with a load. I do drive the truck a lot. like 3 to 4K miles a month mostly highway and no major load. I would like to idealy have a 90MPH or higher top speed. The gear ratios in the trans are as follows: For first gear through fifth gear respectively, the gear ratios are 5.53:1, 3.02:1, 1.60:1, 1.00:1 and 0.77:1. I was wondering if I would be better with a 3:55, 3:73 or if I could go as high as a 3:08? The motor is not modified, and is all stock settings, the pump is not even turned up as of yet.

I have a 88 F350 and my buddy who sold it to me is sayin it has a 9in rear end but i doubt that and i can figure out what kind it is i have heard that those had a 10.25 with a dana 60 inside can anyone help me?

My Ford 350 is leaking fuel and catching fire. I thought the leak was coming from the o-ring and I changed that but it wasn't the issue
