love it have had it since i was eighteen always enjoyed driving it. Will pass it on one day to my son hope he has as much fun as i have all these years as long as petrol lasts outOct 30, 2011

Not terribly fast on the freeway, but quick off the mark and very direct steering and firm ride made my baby MG a dream to drive on tight twisty raods like Chapmans Peak. Because it was so small you didn't need a wide road to overtake (like Chappies).It had the same 1275cc Twin Carb engine found in the Mini Cooper S and my Midget also had a freeflow exhaust. With the hood down you could really hear it. :)Jan 10, 2008
