Overall the 1953 BelAir is great car for cruisin' and car show hopping. It is easy to find parts and one can do much of needed mechanical work. I would reccomend the Chevy BelAir for any car buffs. Enjoy the fun owning a collector car.Mar 17, 2012

Classic 1952 Chevy Pickup. Straight six engine, 4 speed tranny with a granny gear. Super sweet lines on this truck. Does not get good gas mileage, rides like a real truck (very stiff), wont go over 55 MPH, but who cares this truck is for fun. Turns heads everywhere.Mar 15, 2012

The 1953 Chevy is a bulky car. It has the inline 6 with the speed manual. It runs and drives very well. the car needs work but picking up on its build quality I must say I am inpressed! The styling is OK, not alot of trim but has class. Not built for performance.Oct 23, 2008
