Drove over an hour after they told me to come take a test drive and after waiting for long time they came out and said it was already sold..don't buy here..no stars from me..very unprofessional

I have been contacted several times by different sales people and don't like getting bounced around. I only need one sales person to work with and if and when they find what I want then do I want to be contacted. I don't think this is such a hard request!

I took the day off of work and drove an hour and a half one way to look at it. When I got there, Burritt had raised the price of the vehicle by $888 while I was on the road. Get that, a vehicle sitting on the lot for 63 days and the price went up? For the vehicle I was going to trade in, I had an online quote from Burritt. They must have thought I was bringing them a vehicle from Arizona. While my ten year old vehicle isn't perfect, if you placed it next to 10 others of the same year, mileage, etc., it would be better than 9 of them. My "72 hour offer" was cut in half before anyone even went outside to look at it. The net price went from $16,985 to their best offer of $20,500. I wouldn't have wasted a vacation day or the gas to come look it if I knew this was going to be the outcome. I see a representative replying to the comments on here...don't believe that they care. I shared this story with their internet person who immediately stopped communicating with me.

Horrible customer service, wasn’t able to find this Jeep when i got there to look at it. Found it across the street in maintenance. Salesman wasn’t sure if they sold it before i got there. Came back and said it wasnt sold. Whole back bumper was scratched and tons of water flew out of the muffler when started. Salesman told me “ i wouldn’t find a used car with out some damage” after he tried to sell me a 2015 Jeep that had a hole in the bumper.

Other than the fact they have two locations and I went to the wrong one first looking for the truck.I did purchase the truck and I'm happy I went. Its an hour and a half drive from my home hence the reason I was concerned over locating the truck.

I drove an hour to get to this dealer ship to purchase a car at the price listed on your website. When I got there, they said that price was listed by a third party and they wanted $6,000 more that the price listed on CarGurus. I will never go there again.

Super fast and friendly deal, I went in at 6 on a Wednesday night, deal was made by 7 that night, they gave a good price for my trade in and I was back at 9am Friday morning to pick up the truck. Jack Cooley is a great salesman and Jesse was very reasonable as a manager. It was well worth the hour and a half drive.

Went to dealership for test drive. Liked vehicle wanted to buy it but they would not honor their internet price listed in CarGurus ad. Appears this price was only a come on to get people in the door where they could try to talk them into paying far more than advertised price. I understand that tax etc. would be on top of internet price so that was not the problem.

Person who contacted me seemed disinterested in internet sales. I would have driven the three hrs to buy this truck if I had gotten some timely communication. Sales person seemed distracted,couldnt come up with recent photos. I wanted to take advantage of now expired incentives,didnt happen. Another bait and switch advertising promo I guess. Too bad.

My overall experience with Burritt Motors was EXCEPTIONAL. Unfortunately, the vehicle did not have all the features I needed so I was not able to purchase. The sales staff was VERY accommodating. I will DEFINITELY contact them for my next purchase.

The dealer was good showed us the truck and let us take it for a drive It was a good the Truck was just what I was looking for but know we have to come up with a down payment they did what they can do Randy did a great job showing us the truck and letting us take it for a test drive the workers work hard to get in you the vehicle or a vehicle with the van I got from there 2 years ago, run great and still does there vehicle are great and clean after 2 years I found out the a dealer messed up on the paper but it happens that one person. but we are looking to get other vehicle from them

Went and test drive truck had some issue. They said they would put it in shop next day and get ahold of me to let me know if it was good to go. No responce the next day from anybody at burritts on truck if it was good to go. The next morning got a message that they sold it that morning. Will never go back there to bye a vehicle again or send anybody there. They suck at sales but can fix them.

Excellent contact. Dave Smith very concerned about our drive to the dealership on a Saturday when they would be closed. He called me twice to make sure we wouldn't be disappointed. Good communication by email as well. Didn't end up going to see this car as it didn't have the options we desired.

this dealer likes to give you the run around..example our website is down and we cant give you any information on the car....i got that excuse two or three tim and the price might go up depending on what we have to do to fix it......and one of our own workers are interested in this car...three other people are interested in this car..and lastly we sold the car to another person as is...when we took it in on a trade in we didnt look it over very good and the car had several issues that needed fixing....it was a run around..

Wife and I arrived and salesman was late because he was looking for the vehicle we had requested to see. Vehicle was dirty inside and out. Salesman apologized but it was not sincere... During the sales pitch he directed all of his attention to me(husband) and did not direct any conversation / information to my wife.. She was not happy.. Low balled my trade and tried to justify it, I ended up leaving and I received 3000.00 more at the dealership I purchased my new / used Tahoe at... Felt bad but Burritt did not seem like they wanted to make a deal or even try from the out set...

I emailed them simply asking for a price on a truck as it was not listed on CarGurus or the dealer's website. I got 3 emails from the salesman who "wanted to work with me" and NONE of them included the price of the truck! Finally got it on the 4th email. I will probably stay away.

i called him for a 2006 chevy 1500 with 62656 miles on it for $9985. he said he didnt have but they had more coming in tom. Then he tried selling me a different 2006 chevy 1500 with 62659 miles for $13050. He Lied. They were the same truck he just up it 3000 when i said i was interested. their should be laws against dealers like this

Excrllent experience. Don't expect the Internet chat to communicate with the staff. Andrew was exceptionally helpful even though he was never notified I was coming from 75 miles away. They helped deliver the car and did a great job tuning it up before doing so. Experience was 100% different than any of the other car dealers I went to.

Dealer did reach out to me several times. Never answered or provided any information on the car that was posted. Consistently asked me what i was looking for and what my needs were. I asked a few times for specifics on the car posted, confirmed it was there, but never received a single response specific to it. Was very poor experience.

Amazing first time buying experience. Got the best deal on my vehicle at this dealership out of 4 months searching 20+ vehicles. Staff was excellent and not pushy, had my vehicle the next morning after my first visit at 6pm the day prior, absolutely no hidden fees, and they have good follow through. I had questions about the vehicle and they took quite a while to get back to me. I had to send 3 emails. Also their reply to my questions via email were lazy and undetailed. Either they didnt know their inventory or were too inconvenienced by emailed questions from a potential buyer who wasn't on the phone or on their lot that they put minimal effort into the response to my questions. YOU SUPPOSED TO SELL ME THE CAR.

Misleading price quotes on vehicle. I drove over an hour based on a search quoted as $245 for car payment. Once I got there I was quoted $280. The sales manger said it's only a $1 extra a day! I did have a trade-in that we couldn't make happen, but I would have bought the car despite the trade in if they didn't jack up the price once I got there. Very disappointed with sales team. Especially since I drove an hour with 2 children to buy a vehicle that is quoted as having a payment of $245.

The classic BAIT & SWITCH. I called the dealership at mid morning and set up an appt to see the 2010 HHR they had advertised in The Car Gurus for that mid afternoon. When I got there I talked to the saleman about the car and he said it was still available so let me bring it around to the front.for a test drive. 25-30 minutes later he came out to where I was waiting and said that they couldn't sell me the car because of a GM National recall on that car. That NO DEALER could sell any HHR's because of this recall.. After 4+ hours plus cost to drive to Oswego, they didn't know this when I called to set up an appt that morning?? And they stuck to their guns about the recall. I left there knowing that they can't sell me a car over the phone, so they say yeah, come on out, test drive this car. I left feeling used and had. It's this kind of practice that gives all dealers a BAD name. When I got home I received an E-Mail from a salesperson at 4:45pm just 1 hour after I left RM Burritt Motors that the HHR I went to see was sold, but if there was anything that he could do I was just let him know.

Dealership very clean and had great coffee. Only problems were that they were hard to get a hold of at times and told me everything was ready when i went out but they had not received my insurance cards and the finance guy was gone for an hour and i hadnt received a loan until he came back and sat down with me. I also have a few issues with the car already

May I rate Burritt at less than 1 star? Less than O. LOL That is what I got. I spent 4 hours on the road and the gas that it took to make those trips, not to mention the time I spent researching vehicles offered by this less than reputable dealership. Several months ago, I saw a vehicle at Burritt that interested. I made the hour long one way trip to Oswego to take a look. I entered the showroom and stood there. I did not see any other customers lingering around but did see many Burritt employees milling about. I asked to speak with someone about a car and it seemed difficult to find a salesperson interested in making a sale. When a salesperson was identified, he seemed rather disinterested but would do me the favor of talking with me. He had the personality of a dead fish but managed to converse me on a basic level. When he found the car online that I wanted to see, I asked the rhetorical question, "This car is pre-owned certified, right?". I knew it was because the ad claimed so and the vehicle in the lot had a sign in the window stating "This vehicle is GM pre- owned certified". I wanted to be sure, just the same. The salesperson responded. "No, it is certifiable". I asked him what that means. He said that, if I paid and extra two thousand plus dollars, it could be "certified". I told him that is deemed certified in their ad. He reiterated that it is "certifiable". At that point, I left the dealership. Sometime later, I received a call from the Burritt internet specialist. I told him that I was not interested in doing business with Burritt and recounted my story. He said the vehicle is GM certified and it is not necessary to pay any additional monies for the certification. About a week later, the specialist called me back and said that the salesperson was wrong and his mistake had been covered at a sales meeting. He asked me if I was still interested in doing business with them and I thanked him and told him that I was not interested currently but might change my mind in the future. Recently, I saw another vehicle offered by Burritt that peaked my interest. I expressed my interest in an on line inquiry form. The same specialist contacted me. I reminded him of my previous challenge with Burritt but said that I would be willing to give them another chance. We made an appointment and he told me he'd call me should the car be sold before that time. I showed up about ten minutes before the appointment and waited until the internet specialist was located. We sat in his office as he looked up the vehicle. He stood up and told me that he would bring the vehicle around. He returned with the keys but told me that his paperwork indicated that the vehicle had been sold but he needed to verify that it truly was no longer available. After finding and speaking with the person who allegedly sold the car, he came back and advised me that yes, it had been sold. He said it was still listed on the web and he did not see an inspection sticker on the vehicle so he assumed it was still for sale. He turned to his computer monitor and said. "We do have this vehicle for sale...". I told him that his dealership was now 0 for 2. He said that it wasn't his fault. I told him that it certainly was not my fault and that it did not matter to me who was at fault among the Burritt, they are all one entity to me. I stood up and thanked him as I walked out. He continued to chatter as I left. Yesterday, I submitted an inquiry about a vehicle through cargurus.com. Cargurus does not reveal the name of the dealership in their car listings. When I received a dealer response, it came from a salesperson at Burritt Motors, of all places! I reiterated to the salesperson my interest in the vehicle (which he already knew as he responded to my inquiry). Suddenly there was some confusion over what vehicle I was interested in. I reminded the salesperson of the vehicle and the price. He came back with another vehicle at a similar price. This one was not worth as much. I went back to cargurus.com and found that, TODAY, Burritt raised the price of the vehicle I inquired about TODAY by $2000.00. It is funny that, following my previous issues with Burritt, the sales manager admitted that his business is incompetent but that they do not enage in BAIT AND SWITCH. Hmmm...WARNING!!! I strongly caution anyone thinking about doing business with Burritt, especially if you have to travel to get there. I can't imagine what kind of service is received by those who actually make a purchase at Burritt.

Dealer was very fast to respond to my emails before and after the sale. pick up of my purchased vehicle was wonderful . overall my experience was great and I would recommend this dealer. The doll up of my truck was sub par at best. small things were overlooked and it was obvious that it was rushed through to get it out the door. there were running lights missing and wipers that did not work ,they gave me free onstar for three months , but the buttons on the mirror don't work. some overlooked items were inspection failing items , but they stickered it anyway. I expected more from a dealership shop and doll up shop for the 18k I spent.

I got a great deal on my 2010 Toyota Corolla LE. When I declined the extended warranty based on negative past experience, Rob asked me look at it from a different perspective, but was not pushy about the sale. My only disappointment was that I specifically asked if the car had been in an accident--something I wanted to know before driving one hour to take the car for a test drive--Jim couldn't tell me at the moment, but promised to call me back if it had. He didn't call back and I learned the car had been in an accident after I arrived at the dealership. After I took the car to a local garage and learned that there was no structural damage resulting from the accident, I was comfortable to go ahead with the purchase.

I drove all the way down there,and the salesman I was going to talk to,who I had been in contact with,was not even there. Then they let me talk to some one else,and he said that they would have to find a buyer for my car,a 1978 450SL Mercedes Benz,and offered me $5000 for it. What a joke. I told him that I had over $16,000 into it. They should have told me this on the phone,and it would have saved me driving over 150 miles,and a whole day shot,for nothing..
