I went to look at the truck and was very interested but not ready to buy at that moment, told the young man I needed to look into financing. I believe it was a Thursday, the young man reached out to me the following Thursday to see if I was still interested and I told him yes, then he tells me it was sold. I was very disappointed. Then I was told the buyer was having issues and it may not be sold. Then I got a call from someone else at the dealer and was told it was still available, I went so far as to get pre-approved for a loan on my own. Seems like there is a communication problem at this dealer. If the truck was available, I would have purchased it....

I drove five hours each way to City World Ford in The Bronx, NY to see a used car—only to find the battery badly corroded, the interior filthy, and reeking of smoke. They assured me they’d replace the rusted battery and detail it, so I gave them extra time and agreed to return in three days at 3 PM. When I got back after another five-hour trip, they said it was “almost ready,” but the finance director, Juan Morla, spent that entire time texting and being extremely rude and dismissive—apparently trying to run out the clock on my trip to the bank for a certified check. After racing back with the check at the last minute, I discovered they still hadn’t swapped the battery, cleaned the interior, or removed the smoke smell. They blamed being “backed up” despite telling me moments earlier the car was done. I hadn’t paid yet, so I backed out of the deal. Save yourself the headache—City World Ford is disorganized, dishonest, and downright rude. Avoid at all costs.

Great salesperson. The car we were interested in though was sold (salesperson didn’t know). Other good stock but we weren’t interested. Salesperson tried to make offer in an alternate car but no sales pressure and was very polite when we declined. We will go back again given good experience.
