Overview

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is an iconic off-road SUV with space for the family and the capability to tackle the trails. Jeep has pushed the SUV into the luxury world in the last decade or so, and in 2019 it debuted a sporty-luxury trim called the Limited X. The trim brought aggressive styling and sleek looks to the Grand Cherokee, but didn’t improve performance, as the SUV continued with its standard 3.6-liter V6 engine. At the same time, the interior got soft plastics, nice leather upholstery, and easy-to-use tech.

Key Features

  • Turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder
  • Six-speed manual transmission
  • Torque vectoring differential
  • Available Recaro seats
  • Standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Pricing Details

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X had a starting price of $43,845 when it debuted in 2019. In 2021, the SUV’s price had grown to $45,720. Added-cost upgrades included a $1,840 Sun and Sound Group, a $1,995 Protech II group with advanced safety equipment, and a $275 interior protection package. Though the X package brought visual upgrades to the Grand Cherokee Limited, it also brought a more than $5,000 increase to its price tag without an equivalent bump in performance. Used examples on CarGurus range from $14,374.00 to $35,362.00 with an average price of $19,572.54.
