• Langley Steinert Founder/Executive Chairman

  Langley Steinert founded CarGurus in 2006 with a vision for helping automotive shoppers better navigate their car search. Since then, the company has grown to become a leading global automotive marketplace, helping millions of shoppers find great car deals and connect with top-rated dealers. Prior to founding CarGurus, Langley was co-founder and Chairman of TripAdvisor, Inc. an online travel marketplace. He also held management roles at Viaweb (sold to Yahoo! Inc.), Papyrus, and Lotus Development Corp. In addition to serving as Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board at CarGurus, he also is a Board member at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and he is co-founder and Chairman of the Board at ApartmentAdvisor, an apartment rental marketplace. Langley holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Georgetown University.

• Jason Trevisan CEO

  Jason joined CarGurus in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer, and he was appointed to CEO in 2021. Prior to joining CarGurus, Jason was with Polaris Partners for twelve years, serving as General Partner since 2010. Prior to Polaris, he held various management roles in Analytics and Client Services at aQuantive (acquired by Microsoft) and was a consultant with Bain & Company. Jason received his MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Duke University.

• Sam Zales President & Chief Operating Officer

  Sam, who joined CarGurus in 2014, serves as President and COO of CarGurus, leading the company’s revenue and go-to-market functions as well as CarGurus’ International. He also leads the company’s digital wholesale business, including oversight of CarOffer, an instant trade wholesale platform in which the company acquired a majority stake in January 2021. Prior to joining CarGurus, Sam held executive management roles at several technology companies including ZoomInfo, Clicksquared and Buyerzone.com. He has an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern University) and a BA from Dartmouth College.

• Javier Zamora General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

  Javier joined CarGurus in August 2022 as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining CarGurus, Javier was VP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Converse, Inc. based in Boston. In his role at Converse, Javier was a member of Converse’s Senior Leadership Team and was responsible for global enterprise legal, regulatory, compliance, and corporate secretarial functions. He managed a global legal team responsible for enterprise risk management, commercial transactions, global retail and digital marketplace, consumer engagement, brand marketing, e-commerce, regulatory compliance, enterprise contract management, product compliance and safety, global licensing, litigation, global security, and global brand protection among other areas. Javier also served as an executive sponsor of the Converse Mosaic Employee Network and was Co-Chair of the Converse Military Veterans Network. Prior to Converse, Javier was a member of the NIKE Legal Department serving as Assistant General Counsel and working on matters related to: supply chain, manufacturing, sourcing, IT, IP, brand marketing, compliance & ethics, operations, logistics, corporate aviation, and social & community impact. Prior to NIKE, Javier practiced corporate and securities law at a national law firm based in Chicago and was an officer in the military who served a tour of duty in Iraq.

• Matt Quinn Chief Technology Officer

  After working in the Boston technology scene for over 25 years, Matt joined CarGurus in 2022 as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining CarGurus, he was the Vice President of Engineering at the small business referral network, Alignable. He has also led large development teams at technology companies such as Vistaprint, Amazon and Audible. Matt pioneered Vistaprint’s promotional products business, built and led their digital services Engineering team, managed teams on Amazon’s Fire Phone launch, served as the site lead for Audible’s Boston office and led teams that launched Audible on Alexa, FireTV and Kindle. He holds a Master’s of Science in Management from Emmanuel College and a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the College of the Holy Cross.

• Tom Caputo Chief Product Officer

  Tom joined CarGurus in 2017. Prior to joining CarGurus, he spent five years as the Chief Product Officer at Fiksu, a mobile marketing innovator, where he successfully led the company's product strategy and development. He also served as the Vice President of Product Management for x+1, acquired by Rocket Fuel in 2014, and Group Product Manager at Microsoft. Tom holds a BA in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, and both an MBA and MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.

• Dafna Sarnoff Chief Marketing Officer

  Dafna joined CarGurus in 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Dafna led Marketing for several technology and growth companies, including Aura, a digital security innovator; Intersection, an experience-driven media and technology company; and Yodle (acquired by Web.com), a digital marketing SaaS business. She also held various leadership roles over 10 years at American Express in both consumer and B2B Marketing after starting her career at Bain & Company. Dafna holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Mathematics from Dartmouth College.

• Andrea Eldridge Chief People Officer

  Andrea joined CarGurus as Chief People Officer in 2020. Prior to this, she was Senior Vice President of Talent and Employee Experience at Cengage Learning, a leading education and technology company, where she was responsible for the full employee journey including Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, Culture, Inclusion & Diversity and Learning & Leadership Development. Prior to Cengage, she held various leadership positions in talent and general management at Ahold USA, a leading global grocery retailer, and marketing roles at Digitas, a global marketing and technology agency. Andrea earned a BA from Wellesley College.
