What RAM 2500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 2500 years with the most listings are 2025, 2023, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right cab, bed, trim, and price combination. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and broader used-market availability.

What is the RAM 2500's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it points to softer pricing across much of the lineup. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer years, while the older years show smaller declines. That means you can often find stronger value in recent model years without paying close to new-truck money.

The 2024, 2017, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
