Customer summary
The Chrysler Pacifica has consistently impressed owners across the years with its spacious interiors, smooth rides, and family-friendly features. Many drivers appreciate its comfort and versatile seating options, particularly the stow-and-go seats, making it an excellent choice for families. While the advanced technology and safety features are highly favored, some concerns have been raised about electronics reliability, fuel economy, and the occasional stop/start engine issues. Overall, the Pacifica stands out as a strong competitor in the minivan market, combining style, functionality, and a good driving experience.

Is the Chrysler Pacifica a good car?
Yes — the Chrysler Pacifica is a strong pick if you want a family-focused minivan with broad appeal and a well-liked ownership experience.
The all-generations owner rating is 4.4/5 across every model year in the data.
Owners consistently praise the Pacifica for its spacious cabin, smooth ride, and flexible seating, especially the Stow ’n Go setup. Expert reviews rate the 2021 and 2024 models among the highest across all years.

33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
Are Chrysler Pacifica models reliable?

What should I look for when buying a used Chrysler Pacifica?
Across all model years, accident-free inventory is solid at 82.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
| Model Year | Accident-Free % |
|---|---|
| 2026 | 89.4% |
| 2025 | 89.4% |
| 2024 | 88.7% |
| 2023 | 87.1% |
| 2022 | 84.7% |
| 2021 | 76.2% |
| 2020 | 73.3% |
| 2019 | 68.6% |
| 2018 | 66.4% |
| 2017 | 64.9% |
Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2021 models.
Key things to evaluate:
- Safety package: full-speed forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, ParkSense rear park-assist with stop, blind-spot monitors, and rear cross-traffic alert
- Infotainment: a 10.1-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 5 with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Fuel efficiency: EPA estimates for the FWD V6 sit at 19 city, 28 highway, and 22 combined, and AWD drops those numbers to 17, 25, and 20
Which Chrysler Pacifica trim should I buy?
The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica offers these trims:
- LX: The entry trim opens the lineup and keeps the older logo, a more reserved fascia, and simpler headlights. It suits shoppers who want the most straightforward version of the Pacifica.
- Select: This is the best-value trim for most buyers, adding the reworked front-end styling and the option of AWD for an additional $2,995.
- Limited: This trim adds ventilated seats starting here and is a strong choice if you want more comfort and convenience.
- Pinnacle: The top trim brings the most upscale presentation in the lineup and includes the Enhanced Safety Sphere Package as standard.
What Chrysler Pacifica do most buyers choose?
The Chrysler Pacifica years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 8,975 | 34.8% |
| 2025 | 7,459 | 34.7% |
| 2023 | 6,597 | 34.2% |
| 2026 | 4,218 | 34.9% |
| 2022 | 3,935 | 33.8% |
| 2018 | 2,705 | 30.2% |
These higher-volume model years tend to draw the most shoppers because they offer a strong mix of availability, pricing, and newer features. More listings also give you more room to compare condition, mileage, and deal quality before you buy.
What is the Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | $23,344 | −27.74% |
| 2025 | $27,611 | −26.55% |
| 2023 | $22,003 | −19.5% |
| 2022 | $20,738 | −18.61% |
| 2020 | $16,649 | −14.23% |
| 2021 | $20,203 | −13.27% |
| 2019 | $14,812 | −11.35% |
| 2018 | $13,200 | −9.84% |
| 2017 | $11,641 | −7.86% |
The table shows broad downward movement across the Pacifica lineup, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. The steepest drops are concentrated in the newer model years, while older examples show smaller year-over-year changes. That pattern gives you more room to find value in recent inventory without paying close to new-car pricing.
The 2017, 2018, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

4.5 Overall rating
Customers say
The Chrysler Pacifica has consistently impressed owners across the years with its spacious interiors, smooth rides, and family-friendly features. Many drivers appreciate its comfort and versatile seating options, particularly the stow-and-go seats, making it an excellent choice for families. While the advanced technology and safety features are highly favored, some concerns have been raised about electronics reliability, fuel economy, and the occasional stop/start engine issues. Overall, the Pacifica stands out as a strong competitor in the minivan market, combining style, functionality, and a good driving experience.

I love the car but I was told it was a 2026 but on registration it say 2025 was my only concern.

Reviewed a 2024 Chrysler Touring L FWD on Jun 20, 2024
Some review say the Chrysler Pacifica is a dated design especially the interior. If that means it doesnt have a nav screen the size of coffee table book, and actual knobs for air conditioning, heat, and other normal functions, I say HELL YES! The 10 inch screen is perfect for everything I could think of and not take up needless space for the sake of being new. I was concerned that this Pacifica would have completely different controls, but I was wrong. Some controls are in a different place that the two Fords I had previously, but a couple of drives got me used to them. Even though this was a lower tier model, I found that quality of the seats, dash and controls top rate. The 6 cylinder, 9 speed transmission has the power I need. I wish Ford were still making minivans, but they dont so they lost a sale. I know there are only four automakers who make minivans, and I did look seriously at the Toyota Sienna, but with no availability and no haggling on a $60,000 plus car, Ill pass. I really want the Pacifica Plug in but I tow a small trailer and Chrysler does not recommend it.

Chrysler Pacifica test drive
overall
A lackluster refresh gives the Chrysler Pacifica a new face, but the minivan’s strengths and weaknesses remain unchanged.
Chrysler’s biggest changes for 2027 are the discontinuation of the Pacifica PHEV, and a new LX trim level that takes the place of Chrysler’s formerly fleet-focused Voyager model. After that, the headline shifts toward the remaining all-gas Pacifica’s new face. But don’t let a polarizing new design fool you. This minivan remains a practical and powerful option for families.
Verdict: A new fascia and lighting signature grace the higher trim levels, but otherwise it will be hard to notice many changes between the 2026 Pacifica and this new 2027 model. Stow 'n Go seating remains the Pacifica's signature advantage over its competitors, and this remains the only option in the segment that offers V6 power and all-wheel drive.
