The current average of $45,958 sits slightly below last year's $47,251.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. For a future seller, a softer entry price can also mean less downside if the model holds demand well over time. Strong owner satisfaction can help support that demand when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus NX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory, the 2024 is the primary path to consider.
