The xc70 is a great daily car when the right model is found. I’d go for the 3.2 engine as it still has power compared to the2.4T but is more reliable than the T5 T6 engines. Additionally it is known that the rear suspension is somewhat susceptible to failure at high mileage due to higher loads so that’s something to be aware of.

Smoothest and Quietest ride of any car I’ve ever owned. Including MB and BMW. Not as quick off the line as some , but certainly acceptable even though 13 years old . Great quality and a great normally aspirated 6 cylinder engine. Highly recommended .

Great car, comfortable, but depending on mileage might need expensive maintenance i.e. timing belt and PCV system update. The buyer must be aware.
