Used Toyota bZ for SaleNationwide

Is the Toyota bZ a good car?

The 2026 Toyota bZ is a more appealing electric SUV than its previous iteration because Toyota has improved the formula in several meaningful ways while keeping the price comparatively affordable. It now offers more power, over 300 miles of range, a standard NACS charging port with a CCS adapter, and Plug & Charge capability, all of which address some of the biggest concerns shoppers had with the earlier version. Toyota also shortened the name for 2026 and tidied up the styling inside and out, giving the bZ a cleaner, more modern feel.

Expert reviews rate the 2026 model among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are a poor driver display, an irritating driver monitoring system, and a ride that can feel somewhat choppy on uneven pavement.

38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What should I look for when buying a used Toyota bZ?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, plus blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors with automatic low-speed braking.
• Infotainment: a 14-inch touchscreen running Toyota Audio Multimedia with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Range & charging: 314 miles of EPA-estimated range, a 74.7-kWh battery pack, and about 30 minutes for a 10% to 80% DC fast charge.

Which Toyota bZ trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota bZ offers these trims:

• XLE: The entry trim gives you the core bZ experience with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and it can be paired with the larger battery for more power and range. It’s the best-value starting point if you want the bZ’s main strengths without moving up the price ladder.
• XLE Plus: This version adds the larger battery to the XLE and brings stronger performance and longer range, making it the sweet spot for many shoppers.
• Limited: The top trim adds the larger battery as standard, along with Traffic Jam Assist, lane-change assist, front cross-traffic assist, and Advanced Park Assist.

What Toyota bZ do most buyers choose?

The Toyota bZ years with the most listings are 2027 and 2026.

The highest-volume years usually give you the broadest selection of trims, colors, and price points, which makes it easier to compare options and find the right match. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so pricing and availability are usually easier to evaluate.
