What Subaru Outback do most buyers choose?

The Subaru Outback years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they offer a strong mix of newer features, broad availability, and plenty of shopping choice. They also give you more room to compare prices and equipment across similar model years.

What is the Subaru Outback's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you're shopping used because it means recent Outbacks are generally cheaper than they were a year ago. The declines are fairly consistent across the lineup, with only modest variation from one year to the next. That makes the market feel broadly favorable for buyers rather than concentrated in just one or two model years.

The 2017, 2014, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
