Dealer Rating: (3 reviews) "The dealer responded quickly and enthusiastically, but was unable to answer or send a link to what the 112-point inspection of their vehicles covered (asked Tuesday, and unanswered as of Friday). It's mentioned as a selling point on a large number of their cars, not an obscure feature on this particular one. I wanted to know, so I could compare it to other auto dealer inspections and see what is different. That's the reason for one deducted star. It also appears that the vehicle was sold or otherwise withdrawn from sale on Wednesday. The sale itself is not a big deal, since that's the business they are in, but I did let the person know I was coming in on Saturday to look at it, and a quick note from the dealer to say "Hi, the vehicle you were asking about has just sold, but I have a couple of similar cars you might be interested in" would have saved me a wasted trip (if I had not been paying careful attention). I'll probably still come out an look at vehicles, but I took a star off for that. On the plus side, I've set aside a couple of months to make a decision, so I don't have my heart set on a particular vehicle and there's no anger involved. They can still win my business by having a vehicle I want at a good price. I'm mainly making my review to help them communicate with potential customers better."

The CRV was in great shape though when looking underneath the car my husband did notice some evidence of oil leakage on the engine... though being an old car perhaps that is normal. The young rep was very helpful, communicated well and was not pushy at all. The price seemed high for the year and model, but since we decided against the car we did not try to negotiate so I am not sure if there was price flexibility. We would definitely consider visiting Ashland Motor company again if we need another car."
