How much does the RAM 1500 cost in today's market?

Used RAM 1500 prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The RAM 1500's current nationwide average price is $30,310, and its nationwide low point over the past year was $28,634. Recently, prices have come down for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the RAM 1500 a good car?

Yes — the RAM 1500 is a strong used-truck choice if you want comfort, refinement, and a premium-feeling cabin. The all-generations owner rating is 4.65/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise the RAM 1500 for its smooth ride, upscale interior, and strong performance. Many also highlight its spacious cabin and useful technology, which help it feel more polished and versatile than a typical full-size pickup.

Expert reviews rate the 2019 and 2025 models among the highest across all years.

The main tradeoffs that show up in recent expert reviews center on safety equipment not being standard across the lineup and some trims asking a lot for their price. Even so, the RAM 1500 remains appealing because it combines comfort, capability, and a broad range of configurations in a way that many shoppers value.

34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Which RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2026 RAM 1500 offers these trims:

What RAM 1500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 1500 years with the most listings are 2019, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of availability, pricing, and familiar equipment. More listings also make it easier to compare trims, mileage, and condition before you buy.

What is the RAM 1500's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it creates more room to find value. The declines are steeper on several older and mid-cycle years, while a few newer models are falling more slowly.

The 2023, 2026, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
