Which Porsche Macan trim should I buy?

The 2022 Porsche Macan offers these trims:

• Macan base model: The entry trim brings the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, plus the refreshed styling, larger standard wheels, and the updated interior center console. It suits you if you want the most accessible way into the lineup.
• Macan S: This trim adds the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 375 hp and 383 lb-ft, along with larger 20-inch standard wheels and newly standard Porsche Active Suspension Management. It is the best-value trim if you want the strongest blend of performance and equipment.

What Porsche Macan do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Macan years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right color, mileage, and equipment mix. They also sit close to the newest versions of the Macan, so you get a familiar driving character with broader shopping choice.

What is the Porsche Macan's resale value?

Most Macan model years are showing clear year-over-year price declines, which can work in your favor if you are shopping used. The newer years are falling too, but by smaller amounts than many older ones, so you may find especially strong value in recent-model inventory.

The 2025, 2022, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Porsche Macan safe?

• 2022: 4/10

Every 2022 Porsche Macan has adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and the federally mandated reversing camera.
