Customers say
The Pontiac Grand Am has garnered mixed to positive feedback throughout its various model years. Owners commonly appreciate its sporty design, performance, and handling, particularly enjoying the responsive driving experience and fuel efficiency, especially with the V6 engines. The comfortable interiors and fun driving dynamics are also frequently highlighted. However, some drivers express concerns about reliability, maintenance costs, and various mechanical issues that tend to arise as the cars age. While many fondly remember their Grand Ams for their performance and style, common complaints about gas mileage and build quality persist across reviews.

Good looking car. Fun to drive. Fairly good handling. Horrible Cost to Own. Terrible resale value. Ok Gas Mileage. Always needing repairs to keep on the road. I really miss this car, but the cost and time time to fix it was a bit ridiculous. Poor motor design! 4K a year in repairs to maintain. Wheel hub sensors, Lower intake manifold gasket leaks are major problems on this vehicle

Not too slow... But not too fast. Runs good, no major problems that weren't user error. Nice modest exterior styling, Interior looks rather sporty. Decent gas mileage, minimal maintenance. Not great off the line or in a straight line, however, it handles corners great. Wish more people would get the 5 speed.

I love it, it's my 3rd Grand Am. It handles well, has never needed any major repairs. It's a well built car that gets good gas mileage. I now have over 108000 miles on it and it's still going strong.
