Better with a 3 yr loan if you can swing it. As mentioned on other reviews, acceleration was quite slow. My main complaint about this model ear is that it had a carburetor vs. Fuel injection. Its made for some tricky repairs because the replacement carburetor was $700. It was a lot of money then and still is in my opinion. Most people according to one mechanic spoke with years later would simply remove the carburetor and turn it into the insurance company. I cant speak for the fuel injected versions of this car, but other than that I have no problems with it.

It is a POS. Its good for a cheap car thats good on Gas. It is hard to find parts for since it is discontinued, Yet is a fun car to drive and is cheap to fill and can drive all over on a full tank, yet if something fails you are SOL

Just ask me about the car. It's been a good little car. I think I'll keep it for a while. It's old with low miles. Cheap to fix. 10 gallon gas tank, still cost to much to fill up. Fing gas prices.
