Used Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight for Sale Nationwide

This car has a comfortable ride and is easy to load. I've had low maintenance costs on this classic with gorgeous lines. Over a great deal in these difficult times. I could drive this car thousands of miles on vacation. I've seen more than 20 states in my last cross country trip. It was a dream ride.

Performance: It's very lax in the acceleration aspect. Braking is good, better when they're wet. Handling is good because of the wide wheel base. It's fun if the gas tank is low; you accelerate faster. As for build quality, I haven't needed any work done, and everything has gone well. Appearance wise, it's not too pretty; it's a grandma car, what did we expect? It's not flashy but it's functional. Gas mileage is pretty bad in this economy, but I save money in not needing work.

Pros; Love the classic Oldsmobile styling, motor is bullet proof, a lot of space, great mpg 16-19 city 25-30 highway. Cons; wish it didn't require premium (due to Supercharger) wish it had rear disc not drum and wish it was a 97 instead of a 96 because of extra goodies 97-99 had. Maintenance on car is really low I only had to replace the rear air shocks because they were leaking. Power antenna not working so need to replace And passenger recliner motor really weak. which I need to replace, fog-lights stopped working. Other than that A really looked over vehicle and love the fact that I never see these on the road, I mean RARELY!!! I maybe see one or two every month and a half or so :)

this car is great for long trips due to size and comfort.lots of leg and head room front and bafk seat. very large trunk space. handles well in all weather. has been a joy to drive. very reliable car. used this car for long trips with family-children had lots of space in back seat

Well i only had it for a month or so, but for that time it was a very fun car to own. As far as performance goes, i have one word for it: boat. 3800 Engine wasn't bad and had a lot of torque, but mpgs were nothing to write home about. The exterior was very clean with classic american sedan lines, and inside the crushed velour was like a couch. With 180k miles it had to go sometime, and like many 80's american cars, the frame rusted out. But for the month that i had it, i loved it mainly because it had so much character.
