Nissan Axxess Overview
The Axxess, introduced as a 1990 model, was Nissan's first foray into the U.S. minivan market. It was a super-mini van, somewhere in between a station wagon and a minivan.
The Axxess offered many innovative features, like dual sliding doors. Despite its small size, it offered plenty of passenger and cargo space.
Though the Axxess has a handful of loyal owners, it may have been a car before its time. Somehow, a station wagon/minivan crossover appealed to very few people at the time, and the Axxess was only offered for one year in the U.S. before being discontinued due to slow sales. Nissan's next minivan, the Quest, would not show up for three more years.

(10 reviews)Our first time out at a RallyX we bested the lap times of several 227hp Subaru WRX's. We credit the torquey KA24e, the two automatically locking diffs and a keen weight distribution for our win. Two weeks later, we moved a few stoves around the countryside - and allowed drunken friends to stand through its vast sunroof as we crossed the Burrard Bridge on our way to our company Christmas party. Truly a fun little shaggin wagon!
Got through snow real good (AWD) good first car for Northern regions or mountain areas Sun/moonroof was fun, probably the first car to really have fold down back seats
one of my church member donate this vehicle to me. when i received it. it has some major issues but it used to be a good transpotation that time. it is quiet unique style and easy to drive than regular sedan
Quite rusty, should have done more research before I bought it. Only had it for 5 years & it would have saved me alot of grief if my mechanic looked it over prior to purchase. Spent MORE than purchase price getting it mechanically sound & now the bodys falling apart.
This is the first Nissan I've ever had. I spent years bad-mouthing Nissans because I considered them just renamed Datsuns. Then I worked on this. I just wish U.S. made vehicle engineers could learn from Nissan. I've never seen a vehicle that was easier to work on. EVERYTHING is accessible. I take it back. I won't bad-mouth Nissan anymore.
