2003 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast Review
by Stephen

the most fun car i've owned

it'll run with the v8's in a straight line and it will embarrass them in the corners! great car, fun to drive and still get 21+ mpg

Avg. Dealer Rating: (18 reviews) "This dealer is relentless with their daily emails about getting me in. Often, the person corresponding with me misspells words and incorrectly punctuates (a big pet peeve of mine). If I wanted to come in to test drive, I would like to on my own time. Eventually, an incentive to come in was given in the form of a $25 Russ Darrow gift card. What am I going to spend $25 on at Russ Darrow? A 10 pack of air freshners? I haven't actually traveled to look at the vehicle, and my issue could be limited to one employee corresponding, but some areas of my experience have just been annoying."

Avg. Dealer Rating: (2 reviews) "I had the worst car buying experience at Amato Hyundai in Milwaukee. I ended up at John Amato Hyundai in Milwaukee because the car had been misrepresented in all the ads as Hyundai Certified and through direct questioning I learned it was not. It had to be certified at their Hyundai dealership rather than at the Amato Nissan that advertised the car on Car Gurus and other sites. After being promised that everything was good and the salesman would meet me at the Hyundai dealership (he never came) I went with a certified check in hand (an hour and a half drive from my home) and found a car with 2 big scratches, one with some rust (i was told here were no scratches, etc) and no car mats (also told it had mats). When I asked for the scratches to be buffed and touched up and for mats I was given the run around (basically ignored for almost 2 hours) until they finally 'found' some mats, that they told me they didn't have and that I should buy because they were 'cheap', and they buffed out the scratches (I think it took 5 minutes to buff it), but they did not have the paint. It's being ordered. I was then told the second set of keys with remote fob was at the Nissan Dealership in Glendale and no one could bring them to me and I could go get them. I drove all the way there to be told they did not have the keys and the Hyundai dealership should have made them for me when I was there. Monday and Tuesday I made 5 phone calls to both stores, finally told Tuesday evening by JR that the keys would be fed exed. Well I'm still waiting. Frankly I am concerned whether the certification was ever done, if I will get the keys or the paint. They got my money in full. If you are wondering why I did not speak to management, that was who I was dealing with: I primarily dealt with JR Amato, who I am assuming is the owner or owners son (he introduced himself as 'JR' the manger and did not know his last name was Amato until I got an email thanking me for my business). As far as I can tell he is dishonest and has no qualms with throwing his staff under the bus saying they weren't being honest and unprofessional. I hope the car has more integrity than the Amato dealership... I should have walked, but my son had driven for over 2 hours from college to get the car."
