Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Working with a mild-hybrid system, the 2026 GLE 450’s turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine generates 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, fed to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission.
• Tech: In the 2026 GLE, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system runs on a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen that live side-by-side, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard equipment.

• Starting price: The 2026 Mercedes GLE’s base price is roughly mid-pack, and the GLE starts below the Audi Q8, the BMW X5, the Lexus GX, and the Porsche Cayenne.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
