Which Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE offers these trims:

• GLE 350: The entry model uses rear-wheel drive and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, making it the least-expensive way into the lineup.
• GLE 450: A strong all-around choice with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine and mild-hybrid technology; this is the best-value trim for many shoppers.
• GLE 450e: Adds plug-in hybrid capability and 49 miles of estimated electric-only range.
• AMG GLE 63 S Coupe: The performance-focused coupe model adds standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and a hand-built twin-turbo V8 engine.

What Mercedes-Benz GLE do most buyers choose?

The Mercedes-Benz GLE years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, more pricing spread, and a strong mix of newer features with used-car savings. They also sit close enough to the current generation to keep the GLE’s core luxury appeal intact.

What is the Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The table shows broad year-over-year price declines across the GLE lineup, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The drops are especially pronounced on many newer model years, creating more room for value. A few years are falling less sharply than others, but the overall pattern still favors buyers looking for a premium SUV at a lower entry price.

The 2017, 2019, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
