Key things to evaluate:
- Safety package: The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with blind-spot monitoring, active parking assistance, automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and active braking assistance.
- Infotainment: Mercedes’ latest third-generation MBUX infotainment system with a center 11.9-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay.
- Fuel efficiency: The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 receives a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that chips in an additional 23 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque under certain situations, and the GLC 350e’s hybrid system uses a 23.3-kilowatt-hour battery pack and single electric motor that contributes an extra 134 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque—combined output is a very healthy 313 hp and 406 lb-ft.
Which Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC offers these trims:
- GLC 300: The entry point brings rear-wheel drive, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, a nine-speed automatic, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, heated power seats, a heated steering wheel, and a nice selection of driver-assist tech.
- GLC 300 4Matic: This version adds all-wheel drive to the same core setup, making it the better fit if you want extra traction without moving up the range.
- GLC 350e 4Matic: The plug-in hybrid adds electric assistance, stronger combined output, and the ability to travel on electricity alone, making it the best-value pick for shoppers who want efficiency and everyday luxury together.
- Pinnacle: This fully equipped trim adds more interior comfort, digital headlights, and a head-up display.
What Mercedes-Benz GLC do most buyers choose?
The Mercedes-Benz GLC years with the most listings are 2025, 2026, and 2023.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 3,945 | 35.9% |
| 2026 | 3,296 | 36.1% |
| 2023 | 2,503 | 38% |
| 2022 | 2,441 | 39.4% |
| 2024 | 2,390 | 38.9% |
| 2027 | 2,373 | 34.1% |
Higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they offer a wider selection of trims, prices, and equipment levels. That usually makes it easier to compare listings and find the right balance of features and value.
What is the Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2021 | $25,762 | −11.7% |

| 2018 | $18,063 | −8.3% |
| 2017 | $15,580 | −7.11% |

The 2017, 2018, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Customers say
The Mercedes-Benz GLC has garnered consistent praise from owners across all model years for its luxurious comfort, advanced technology, and powerful performance. Drivers appreciate the smooth ride and spacious interiors, making it a comfortable choice for both daily driving and long trips. However, some have expressed concerns about high maintenance costs, the complexity of certain tech features, and occasional reliability issues. Overall, the GLC stands out as a well-rounded SUV that blends style with substance, though some drivers feel the infotainment system could be more intuitive.

CarGurus recommends the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC

Summary
With 2,365 currently listed for sale and an average price of $41,449, 38.4% of 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC 5 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 7.17 / 10.
93.6% of 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC stands out as a luxury crossover that arrived in its second generation with a truncated lineup, then broadened for 2024 with AMG variants rejoining the GLC 300. That makes it a more complete offering than it was at launch, while still keeping the focus on a compact premium SUV formula. In testing, the AMG-tuned version was described as a better fit for drivers who want something more specialized, though the review also suggests it may not be the best match for most luxury-crossover shoppers.
What helps the 2024 GLC appeal is the mix of everyday usability and upscale polish. The voice-command system is a highlight, the ride is improved compared with its predecessor, and it earned excellent scores from independent safety organizations. At the same time, the GLC is not without compromises: desirable advanced driver-assistance systems are not standard, cargo space is limited especially in the Coupe, and some of the features buyers are most likely to want cost extra.
