I like the more aggressive stand than the stock Saloon, and the engine is very strong making the vehicle look and handle more like a muscle car. The all around tinted windows and high polished aluminum wheels also contribute to the sporty look. Yet inside the vehicle looks very plush with the upgraded Palomino leader seats, which look great and are extremely comfortable. I fell in love with my 560SEL when I first saw it at my mechanic's garage and bought it even though it needed many repairs and maintenance. Although many of the parts are relatively expensive, I saved a lot of money by doing the mechanical work by myself. Additionally, there are plenty of parts available at junkyards and salvage dealerships. Right now the car performs and handles outstandingly; It is an excellent commuter car in the day and a party cruiser at night. I feel proud to own this car specially when I'm driving on the highway and the very expensive cars of the day pass me by, not for lack of power, on the contrary because I know what the vehicle is capable of doing. I so much enjoy just cruising in style knowing that I didn't have to pay the expensive costs of owning a new car.

These are the last of the hand built Mercedes SEC models .They drive and feel like no other car except maybe for Bentley or Rolls Royce .I have owned 3 Cadillacs the last one being a 1994 Deville which I really liked. They are nice too but they don't compare with these Mercedes. There is something about owning and driving them that brings out a pride of ownership.

From the Mercedes Benz 5.6 aluminum racing V8 to the power reclining rear seat, every thing about this car is truly remarkable. She may be 17 years old, but don't let that fool you. This car is very well equipped with hydronumatic self leveling suspension, all 4 seats are heated, power everything, sunnroof, and a beefy v8. Driving this car is an absolute joy. The ride is very smooth and controlled. Amazing agile from a car of its size. The interior is very quite and comfortable. The V8 is quiet and silky smooth until you drop the pedal. At your command drop the pedal and feel this beast roar to a rocketing take off. Built for autobahn cursing, 80 to 150 mph is where this car truly shines. You effortlessly watch the speedo rocket past 120 without a care in the world. 150 mph is just as relaxing an comfortable as 45mph.

The mighty 560SEL was the safest car on the road when released, but also came with a powerful 5.6L V8. Driving a MB of this size and class is a unique experience - nothing quite comes close to it's sedate yet monolithic power.

Powerful, stylish, and roomy, the Mercedes-Benz 560-Class was the ultimate in luxury automobiles. The two models in the class were the 560SEC Coupe and the 560SEL Sedan. Both were powered by a 5.6-liter, 238-hp V8 engine that was linked to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Luxury appointments were extensive, from heated leather seats, anti-lock brakes, and cruise control to alloy wheels, headlight cleaners, power sunroof, power windows, power door locks, and much more.
