Avg. Dealer Rating: (14 reviews) "Had been in contact with one sales rep via CarGurus, when I arrived for what wasn't a confirmed appointment, turned out they'd been pulled away for an emergency. So we were quickly introduced to a new salesperson. He quickly pulled the car I was interested in for a test drive. Super knowledgeable, knew the linage of Mini and different eras and generations on the newer version and how they've changed and evolved. He knew all the nooks and crannies, and demonstrated some of the features and all. Things went well with all of that, car was in great shape, even better than the listing said it was. But things got shaky in the negotiations for the price. When going through the financing and taxes, it wasn't well explained how they were getting the monthly payment numbers they were asking for, and it was much higher than the calculator that CarGurus had provided. I get taxes, registration and dealer fees get factored in, but none of that was explained, and again the final price was much higher than advertised (even after subtracting estimated tax % and the interest rate). So I didn't buy it, and as I was leaving the lot, the salesman pulled the usual used car tactic of dropping the month price $20/mo as i got in my car. Even still it was much higher than it should have calculated to. Future advice for to a would be customer there, just have them break down their math for you directly, because for me it just didn't add up and it soured my choice buying the car."
