Great handling, good acceleration, no extra luxure, sheer driving pleasure, rwd, tubular chassis, aluminium/glassfibre body, fast 0-100-0 km/h, 150 hp+, 700kg, 2.0 pinto engine, megasquirt, racing camshaft, modified cylinder head, black with fireflames, a fun car!

This has kept me sane for the last 2 years. It is a Replica of a Lotus 7. It is powered by a Yamaha R1 motorcycle engine, thru a Quaife reverser box, with a 3.58 limited slip Toyota solid axle. Appleton 2.5 steering rack, Mountney 10 inch quick release steering wheel. Front and rear disks, Front spindles off a Toyota Previa Van. Built pretty much by me! Nose and fenders will be Red, the rest of the car is Caution Yellow. Working on cooling system, making exhaust headers, and then looking at wiring. Hope to start it by June, 09.

Great little car...go cart like handing...engine response more like a high rev motorcycle....not esspecially fast but super quick and agile sitting in the car you can easily place your hand palm down to the pavement. rt hand drive was little weird but easily adapted to that!
